No formal workout. I have what I think is a kidney stone and I just wanted a break.
30 minutes of a 45 minute yoga video. I tried, I really did, but I just wasn't feeling it. Something is better than nothing, right?
She laid at the bottom of my mat the whole time. What a dog. |
45 minute Fitness Blender workout. Felt good, although I'm not pleased that I'm still having flank pain.
My kitty is too cute. |
No formal workout, but my nephew and I were in a bounce house for a long time. That will definitely work your leg muscles and if you're anything like me, throwing the kid around will also use those arm muscles! It was the first day of my husband's family reunion and it was exhausting.
Woke up early before all the family reunion madness began and went for a run. It was a beautiful Iowa morning.
No workout. We drove home, got the pets settled, ran to the grocery store, and were just plain exhausted.
30 minute yoga class, followed by 30 minute cardio class. I was a sweaty mess and was barely able to use my mat because the dog loves it so much.
All good intentions, but no workout actually happened. I did a 15-minute move and stretch class at lunchtime and spent hours walking my dog and a neighbor's dog, but the day just got away from me.
One hour of meditation restore yoga. The cat sat next to me purring for a good chunk of it and it just made the whole thing sort of magical.
Friday, September 10
3 mile run. It was not my best run. What are you going to do?
45 minute Yoga with Adriene video. Next week I need to get my workout groove on because things have not been top notch this month.
Sunday, September 12
45 minute tabata video. I sweat a lot. Then I took the dog to the county park where we wandered around for an hour or so. She panted a lot.
Monday, September 13
1 hour yoga class.
She won't use a single blanket I've purchased for HER to use, but the second I get my gear out, all she wants is to hang out on my blanket. I don't really mind, to be honest. |
Tuesday, September 14
30 minute yoga class followed by 30 minute cardio class. I didn't take a photo, but just imagine me all sweaty and gross.
30 minute arm class, followed by 30 minute body sculpt class. I'm exhausted and grumpy.
Thursday, September 16
1 hour yoga meditation restore class. The cat was with me for the first twenty minutes or so and was purring and seeking pets and she was adorable.
No workout.
3 mile run.
I had a workout scheduled, but laziness won. Nothing more ambitious than a walk with the dog.
Monday, September 20
30 minute tabata video, followed by 30 minute Yoga with Adriene video.
Why two mats, you ask? Someone stole one. |
30 minute ladder workout (combo weights/cardio).
Wednesday, September 22
30 minute arm class, followed by 30 minute body blast class. There were burpees AND pushups, which is upsetting to a girl like me.
No workout. I was doing stuff for my volunteer role and got sucked in longer than I had planned.
15 minute move and stretch class at lunchtime, followed by a run. It was a gorgeous day, but I was pretty hungry, so this was a painful one for me.
2 hours of yardwork. We're doing some early fall cleanup and it's lots of cutting stuff back. Ending up taking four bags over to the compost pile.
Big Z had a vet appointment this morning with some shots, so I was glad to see her being so excited to hang out with me. |
I like how you record your mental state as well as what the workout was. I always exercise first thing in the morning, so I rarely (if ever?) take the time to determine if I WANT to work out. I just kind of start. And some days, believe me, I do not want to be doing it! Makes it interesting to think about what would happen if I assessed my mental state while getting ready...
