You might notice me doing a lot of yoga recently. I am finding it really hard to find motivation to do strength training recently, so I'm doing what I feel like my body wants. Fingers crossed this is a passing phase, but it is what it is right now.

30-minute no jumping HIIT (the first round I thought this was sooo easy and then by the end, I was definitely working HARD)

Tuesday, November 28
17-minute YWA video in my office at lunchtime
15-minute standing yoga video in my office at lunchtime - Nothing like getting your heartrate up and your sweat on while at your office.

If lunchtime yoga is going to be a thing in my life (and I think it is going to have to be), then I'm going to have to get a mat for my office.

15-minute stretch class at lunchtime
45-minute body blast class (in person)
45-minute yoga class (in person)

Thursday, November 30
30-minute chair yoga video in my office at lunchtime - I somehow thought these would be easier, but I'm still working up a sweat! I tried five minutes of a different video to start, but I honestly need a mat to make it work because the floor is so hard.

  1. I used to have an "office fitness kit" in my desk back in my office days. Most of the time I just went for a walk at lunch so I didn't use it often but I definitely used it when I used it. So that's my wordy way of saying yes get an office yoga kit!

    1. Yes! I have a travel yoga mat on my Amazon wish list and I'll see if I get one for Christmas. If not, I'll buy one for myself with some Christmas money.

  2. Yay for so much yoga! I used to teach a lot of chair yoga, it's such a great way to stretch at the desk. I agree you need a mat for sure!

    1. Yeah, I have enough room in my office that I could do a flow, but I need a mat. It will make things easier.

  3. I've never seen those Fitness Blender videos before- they look like GREAT workouts. You get a lot accomplished in 30 minutes. You did really well, especially for a month with a big holiday in it!

    1. Fitness Blender is my standby. Their videos are doable and don't make me feel like an utter incompetent (Caroline Girvan, ahem).

    1. Thanks, San! I always think of you doing hours every day and remind myself that I can fit in half an hour somewhere.

  5. I'm so impressed at all the workouts despite the long workdays! I'd love to hear how you do that...

    1. My evenings are: come home from work, walk the dog, workout, make dinner, eat dinner, walk the dog, get ready for bed. There's no time for anything else!

    2. I wish I could do evening workouts!

    3. My evenings are chaotically dumb. I leave work, walk the dog, exercise, and immediately start dinner. There is NO time for anything else. I can't get up any earlier, though, so this is how it has to be unless I want to exercise right before bed, which seems like a way to ensure I never fall asleep. *sigh* I wish I had a different option.

  6. I ... wow. Those are your evenings? I would NOT be able to remain conscious for long enough to achieve all of that. Then again, I get up while you are probably in REM cycle 2 or 3... :)
