30-minute Caroline Girvan Fuel series (day 29 - full body) - She claims this is no repeats, but that's only if you think of Bulgarian lunges with weights, forward lean Bulgarian lunges, and bodyweight Bulgarian lunges as different. On the bright side, there are no burpees, although there are some half burpees in the finisher.

It was unseasonably hot today (sorry, Florida friends, but it was 80 here!) and I was out in the yard for about an hour and a half, too. Lots of bending and carrying heavy crap across the yard.

60-minute yoga class at the community center - I am usually a clock watcher at yoga. There's a clock in the room that ticks and I just can't drop in. I didn't even check the clock until 40 minutes had passed. It was pretty great. It was 80 degrees on Saturday and didn't get out of the 30s today, so I had to really convince myself to go and I was happy I did.

Nice job! As usual you have a nice mix of workouts, and you finished Fuel! I'm curious about the Beast Mode workouts- I like your description of Day 2- "the most straightforward arm workout ever." I might check it out tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI just did the second arm workout in Beast Mode yesterday (day 5) and it is also very straightforward. That might be the name of the game for upper body workouts in Beast Mode.
DeleteCongrats on finishing Heat! I'm on week 1 of my 2nd round of Beastmode, and I'd forgotten how much I liked it.
ReplyDeleteI'm finding myself so sore after Beast Mode workouts that I can't do them back-to-back. That's not a terrible thing, but I have no idea how people do them as designed!
DeleteYou did great - I love your consistency. And how about that first run of the season... isn't it nice to get outside when the weather is beautiful and just move your legs? :)
