9 yoga workouts
16 cardio/strength workouts
12 short lunchtime stretch classes

My goal is 5/7 days (71.4%) and I made my goal even though I took off four days when my friend was visiting. I feel pretty great about this month. I feel so stressed out, but taking time for exercise has been a real boon to my mental health.  I'm super pleased with this performance.

*Our local healthcare group offers free fifteen minute stretch classes virtually three times a week around lunchtime. They are free!  It's fun! Come join us! If you want to register for the classes, click here

  1. Nice month! You got in a good variety of workouts. I'm glad you felt the mental health benefits. We all have days when we don't feel like doing it, and it's helpful to remember WHY it's going to help. But naps are good too : )

    1. Yes, naps ARE good, but most of the time a workout is probably the better options (illness aside). I do feel better when I exercise, so I keep at it!

  2. I thank you for letting me know about the 15 minute stretch classes, I've been enjoying them! Well, as much as I "enjoy" anything related to exercise, that is. I'm certainly grateful for them!

    1. It's great having you come to them. It feels exciting to have someone from out of town, although I'm not sure how much you care about our local town events and gossip!

  3. You know I love tracking and setting goals so this post is right up my alley! Way to go hitting those goals. Love Yoga with Adriene as well..her videos are so great and always make me feel so much better afterwards.

    1. Adriene has such a soothing way about her. I don't know if I've ever met someone who did one of her videos who doesn't appreciate her easy way!

  4. Well done! My # of workouts is so low since going back into the office... I don't know how to solve that, though. I mean, I do. It would mean getting up at like 5 but I don't feel THAT motivated to get up early, especially since I feel like I am always tired but maybe my body would adjust...

    1. There's nothing worth getting up at 5! I'd have to go to bed at 7 to accommodate that and I imagine that would leave you with exactly NO adult time once the kids are in bed. I guess you're really just a weekend warrior for now!

  6. I have nothing new to add except to say, as I do each month - A WHOLE SHEET OF GOLD STARS FOR THIS!
I've also been doing some Yoga by Adrienne video. I love she has so many that I can type a search string into YouTube (say, gentle morning yoga) and I always get hits from her channel.

    1. YES! I frequently type things like "lower back pain" or "sore legs" and it seems like there's a YWA video for everything. I also like when her dog appears because most of the time there's a dog next to me, too.

  7. Great job! You have such a great routine going, even if you take off a day here and there (which, btw, is totally okay :))

  9. Your consistency is amazing, but you also rock at variety. I, as noted before, completely stink at variety in workouts. I'm consistent but oh-so-boring. I can't do yoga or pilates right now - may not ever be able to do an unadapted form - but if/when I can incorporate it, I'll take a look at Adrienne.
