It was a nice day, sunny, slight windy, mid 70s. I went for a run. Only I was underwatered and my leg hurt and it was not a run, it was a jog, and I'm pretty sure people out for a walk could have lapped me.  Oh, well.  I did it.

*I hurt my finger while walking Hannah. The mean spaniels were out and she saw them before I did and took off lunging at them and the leash just pulled on the middle finger of my left hand and bruised it. I wasn't holding the leash correctly because I was being lazy and I paid the price. The finger still works and nothing is broken, but it hurts to put pressure on it like it would any other bruise, so I have to be careful with what I do with it.

  1. Ugh. Sorry to hear about your finger! Hope it's feeling better soon. As always, I'm so impressed at your regularity of fitting in a range of workouts!!

    1. The finger is mostly better! It was hard to use for a bit, but it's probably 85% now and I can resume lifting weights again.

  4. Yep, you really do a nice variety. 24/30 days is great! Sorry about the finger- I can see how it would be hard to lift weights. And I think you're getting up into the 90s again this week so you probably don't want to run. I hope the finger gets better quickly!

    1. I get bored easily - hence the variety. I don't think I could stand to do the same thing day after day. Even a circuit workout will sometimes bore me.

  5. I just cannot believe it is JUNE and you did not have your AC on. I think I have my AC off for a few weeks out of the entire year, ha.

Nice job on your workouts last month!

    1. Well, we try not to run the AC if we can help it because we have a drafty old house. The early part of the month was pretty cool and then we tried to open windows at night and then close it down during the day to trap in the cool night air, but sometimes around 3 or 4 in the afternoon, it gets too hot. Since that's when I generally exercise, I did a small amount of complaining. :)
