Bestest Friend and I are in the middle of a blog project. Each day of
the month we will post a picture on a pre-determined theme and write a
little something about it. The theme for the twenty-first day of each month is
"Laughter."

I have an addiction to game shows. When we moved into this apartment and I found out that Game Show Network was a part of the cable package, I just about jumped up and down in excitement. I love the old game shows the best (right now Game Show Network is showing an old episode of What's My Line? and I am quite happy to just sit here on the couch and watch 1970s Betty White), but I have a great debt to Who Wants to be a Millionaire? for bringing back the popularity of game shows in a modern context.
But what I really love is Steve Harvey's Family Feud. I've written in this place before and I am sure I will again the future, but I think if everyone in this country watched this show, race relations would be so much less tense. We usually keep this show on as we're getting ready for bed and there has been more than one occasion in which it is a struggle for me to keep toothpaste from flying because I am laughing hysterically at Harvey.
It hasn't been the best of days around here. There's been lots of sleepless nights, making sure the garbage can is close just in case, multiple trips to Walgreen's each day, and hours on hold with a pharmaceutical company to see if a medication is gluten free. But when I turned on GSN and Steve Harvey was on, I was laughing within minutes.
I really want to be part of a Family Feud survey. Does anyone know how to hook me up with that?

Yes, Steve Harvey is the best host of family feud ever. His reactions to contestants and their hilarious answers are freakin' gold.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! Family Feud is the best.
