Bestest Friend and I are embarking on a new blog project. Each day of
the month we will post a picture on a pre-determined theme and write a
little something about it. The theme for the twenty-second day of each
month is "Seven Deadly Sins."

We went to a doctor's appointment today. And then we went to the pharmacy and stopped at the library to pick up a book I had on hold. And that's it.

The prostrate poster was even more disgusting. |
Usually there's a celebration when final grades are submitted. But this year, there's been nothing but a somber sort of acknowledgement that it's possible we're not going to be able to go to Christmas in Iowa for what will be, mostly likely, my mother-in-law's last major holiday. Her tumor, which has been unchanged for about three years, has shown significant growth in the last six weeks. There's been nothing but a quiet discussion about how best to get the gifts to our nieces (the ones we got in the draw) in time. There's been nothing but silence when we turn off the holiday lights and crawl into bed.

Too Legit To Quit.
