Note for Next Year: This Doesn't Happen Until the First Week in May

In the beginning of flipping March (MARCH!) - TWO MONTHS AGO - folks on my Facebook feed started posting pictures of flowers in full freaking bloom and it was all I could do not to sit down and cry.  All it did here all winter long was snow, freeze, snow some more, and then snow again. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, it would snow again.  The city had to extend the no parking on the streets overnight from March 15 to March 31.

But last weekend it rained a whole lot and the tulips came out and the grass got green and several trees started budding!!!

 I am attempting to put in place some practices that I hope will lead to less wailing and gnashing of teeth next winter.  But for now, let spring spring!!
