Brownie's Beach

My cousin and I went to Brownie's Beach last week. Calvert County, Maryland has a lot of interesting fossils from various geological eras, particularly the Miocene period.  We went for the sole purpose of getting the biggest shark tooth ever recorded.
Unfortunately, we failed to actually prepare to become professional fossil hunters.  Pretty much we just brought a pail with us.

But we did get find some stuff!
Six and a half hours of work and this is what we ended up with as our haul.  I'm not sure we're going to win any awards for efficiency, but we had fun, a good swim, and got sunburned, so I'm pretty sure we'll chalk it up to a win.
