Bestest Friend and I are in the middle of a blog project. Each day of
the month we will post a picture on a pre-determined theme and write a
little something about it. The theme for the fourteenth day of each month is "Reach."

Maybe the Mall of American on Valentine's Day is not the most romantic of locations. Maybe it was super crowded, loud, and filled with rambunctious tweens and teens who do not understand the concept of personal space. Maybe.
But it was also amazing.
My shopping haul included a new Swatch, a new sweater, and some makeup from Sephora. My sister-in-law and I rode a ride called Ghost Zone at Nickelodeon Universe, we ate lunch at a mall food court, and we people watched like it was our job.
And tonight we crawled back to our hotel room, read our matching Kindles (his in black, hers in purple), and cuddled close, knowing that this was the best Valentine's Day we could have asked for.
