*Our local healthcare organization does free stretch classes virtually three times a week. Sign up here! It's free. It's fun. We regularly talk about candy and what's for lunch. It's a delightful break in the middle of the day. You do not have to have your camera on. She has the classes out there for the rest of the year, so you'd only have to register ONCE.

There are only TWO MORE MONTHS in the year. How are your fitness goals going?

  1. Wait, how is your back / kidney stone?!

I love that you and Hannah did yoga while a tree came down. That is true zen!

    1. I don't know, Suzanne! I think it was a kidney stone based on its movement, but the fact that it came on JUST as I was doing a RDL really worried me that I had bad form/was lifting too heavy. It's mostly fine now, but I'm scared to go all out now. You'll notice my lifting is pretty minimal. I need to just buck up and do more of it!

    2. I did notice that! I was hoping it didn't mean you've been in pain all month! But I definitely understand the desire not to push too hard when you are afraid it will hurt something. I still haven't gone back to regular weights after my stupid tennis elbow. I need to Get Over It.

Anyway, fingers crossed it was a kidney stone and you're all done with that and the weight lifting will go swimmingly next time you give it a shot.

  2. Nice consistent work there! My fitness routine has gone out the window because of all the stress around our injured cat. I always get my gym sessions done (which is the most important) and 1-2 runs a week but what should be my routine at home is gone. My brain is totally scattered when I'm inside the house and I'm trying to accept that and at least do the most important things (some jumping, planks, and shoulder mobility).

    1. I admire people who get to the gym. I know that I would never actually make my way there.

  3. Ooh, I'm going to try that video for low back pain. My low back is actually okay right now, but my hips are so tight- maybe this will help. You're definitely balancing me out- I haven't been doing yoga at all, and you're doing a lot of it (what? It doesn't work that way? Darn). I need to get back into it.

    1. Yoga is the best that I can really do these days, particularly if I need to do it my office during lunch!

  4. How do you manage to be so consistent. I wish I kept going after the arctic but here I am gaining wait, eating candy and being lazy.
Anyway I am proud you are doing it. And it also motivating for a few seconds.
