3.8 Love - A Weeping Willow of My Own

Bestest Friend and I are in the middle of a blog project. Each day of the month we will post a picture on a pre-determined theme and write a little something about it. The theme for the eighth day of each month is "Love."
****************************
Bestest Friend and I recently talked about the difference between romantic love and friend love and familial love. I'm not sure we actually came to any agreement on it, but the thing we did come to agree on is that romantic love may or may not be the same feeling as friendship love, but that our love is true love.
I almost spit out my water today when I saw her post. We are soulmates. I took this photo on the way back from town, imagining that I could write about how much I love how everyone gathers around the dam to fish. Only no one was there fishing, so I just starting taking pictures of these trees because I love that they are green and they didn't die in the drought last year like so many other trees did.
I love this time of year. Everything is lush and verdant.
And the birds won't look you in the eye.

  1. Brilliant! This is almost as good as the time we sent the same random card to each other at the exact same time.
