3.25 Courage - You Got This

Bestest Friend and I are in the middle of a blog project. Each day of the month we will post a picture on a pre-determined theme and write a little something about it. The theme for the twenty-fifth day of each month is "Courage."
****************************
It seems that the personal lives of many of my family members and friends are imploding right now. There are breakups, rows over money, sickly parents, and woes at work.  When the phone rings, I take a deep breath and remember to tell them:
You are important.
You are worthy.
You are loved.
You are more than your relationship to the person with whom you are in the midst of a breakup.
You can still laugh even though you know this is your last Labor Day with your father.
You can call me in the middle of the night.
Maybe most important of all of this: you can do this.  You got this. You are awesome and brave and self-assured and confident and capable.

It's the day to day living that takes the most courage.  When things get bad, don't forget that you always have a seat at my table, my friends.
