1.6 Sky - Grey

Bestest Friend and I are embarking on a new blog project. Each day of the month we will post a picture on a pre-determined theme and write a little something about it. The theme for the sixth day of each month is "Sky."
***************************

I wonder if other people debate grey versus gray every time they write it. I wonder if other people mumble “surrrrrprise” to themselves when they write it. I wonder if other people think nautical + sea = nausea when they write it. I wonder if other people look for rainbows when they do the dishes. I wonder if other people make up words for the meows and yowls from their cats. I wonder if other people avoid the news until after lunch because mornings are bad enough already. I wonder if other people quote Babe regularly. I wonder if other people look at a number on a digital clock and immediately try to figure out all of its factors. I wonder if other people are confused when they watch the action scenes. I wonder if other people look at the sky, this sky, and think about the hole in the ozone layer, mining on the moon, and how they really wish they had paid attention to the different types of clouds when they were in school.

  1. Yes. No. No. No. Yes. I avoid the news, period. Yes. No. No. When I look at the sky I think of the first time I got new glasses after I got my driver's license (about three years later), and how when I was driving down a long highway and the sky was stretched out in front of me I could see colors in the clouds, like various shades of white and pink and gray and blue and I could see the linings and I almost crashed the car because it was so clear and wonderful.
