Five by Five - Friday Night Lights Edition

Weekly Football Game:  Homecoming at my high school alma mater. We won. Apparently it was the first time the victory bell had been rung in approximately 3948294728 games and it was a nail biter, but we pulled it out.

Number of Times I Said "Wow" As I Drove By Stands of Trees: At least one hundred. The trees are beautiful right now.

I took most of these in a cemetery when I was visiting some friends. 

Number of Other People's Pets I Assaulted with Love: My count is nine. It's so exciting when you realize that there are animals out there that allow you to pet them without biting you.

This is Mouse. He looks like my Zelda, but he's WAY bigger and greyer and less likely to bite you.

Spectacular Cake Fail: Three of us, all college graduates, spent a great deal of time making this cake. We did finish it as the clock struck 1:30 in the morning, but that's not really a good excuse for the monstrosity of what it became.

A little girl wanted a Barbie cake. She will get a cake that looks like Barbie is trapped in a mudslide.
